Fresh-Craft manages digital reactive and pigment print programs using high-speed inkjet print setups (such as Kornit and MS Printing systems) in Tirupur and Noida, India. Digital printing allows brands to bypass screen setup costs and print small runs of complex artwork with unlimited colors and smooth gradients.
The digital printing process uses water-based reactive dyes that bond chemically with the cotton cellulose fibers, rather than sitting on top of the fabric. This ensures that the print has zero stiffness or rough texture, remaining soft against a baby's skin. We utilize only GOTS-approved and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class I certified digital inks. Our print lines employ computerized color profiling to match digital artwork files with Delta E color differences kept below 1.0, ensuring high consistency between print runs.
Stretchability is critical when digital prints are applied to baby rib knits or cotton-elastane leggings. We run fabric stretch testing to confirm the printed graphics expand without splitting or cracking. Post-printing, fabrics undergo steam setting and open-width wash ranges to set the reactive dyes and wash away unbound ink residues, guaranteeing maximum colorfastness (Grade 4+ for washing and saliva rubbing) and satisfying international safety regulations.
